Our experience with Adriatic Charter was unfortunately very disappointing. The boat was in poor condition — door handles didn’t work, many items were broken or outdated, and overall the equipment was far below the standard we’ve experienced with other charter companies. The biggest issue, however, was the staff’s attitude. They were arrogant and unhelpful. We even witnessed a group of young sailors asking for assistance with docking, only to be met with mockery instead of support. Sadly, we cannot recommend Adriatic Charter based on this experience.

Terrible customer service. They don't want to do check in or check out. Office charges for early check in even if the boat isn't ready. Safety equipment is hidden & you have to search the boat yourself to find it. No proper handover. Tired equipment.

Very poor experience - would not use again I recently rented a boat from Adriatic Charter and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience that I feel others should know about. Staff attitude issues: The technical team's approach was quite unprofessional. Despite being paying customers, we were treated dismissively and with an attitude that suggested we were inconveniencing them rather than receiving a service we paid for. The condescending tone from the technical staff was particularly off-putting. Boat maintenance concerns: The vessel we rented appeared worn and the cleaning standards were below what you'd expect for the price point. The overall condition suggested insufficient maintenance and care between rentals. Unexpected additional costs: Be very careful with the pricing structure. Like many budget airlines, there are numerous add-on fees that aren't clearly communicated upfront. You need to scrutinize every detail to avoid surprise charges that can significantly increase your final bill. Payment complications: Card payment options weren't consistently available, which forced us to use a nearby ATM that charged excessive withdrawal fees. This added unnecessary expense and inconvenience to an already expensive trip.

Poor quality and unsafe boat. Systematic fresh water leak said to be normal with a hint that we were naive. Major leak of fresh water (circa 20-30L/day) direct into motor battery. Wear and tear an option for them to keep some deposit. Several things were found to be jerry-rigged and/or just broke the first time they were used. We were made to pay for probably already broken things. Mediocre, rude service, some drunk staff. We returned 3 days early as we said the boat was not safe, which got a shrug. Worst charter company we have ever used (of circa 10 over 25 years). Avoid.

The cabinets on the boat were all dirty. There were not enough sheets for 14 days, the boat boxes in the cockpit were nasty and filled with puke, the boat was not clean on the deck, the byboat was torn. The blankets were not clean. You have to make your own beds. The beds were full of hair and dust under the mattresses, there were stains on the walls, there was motor oil (disel) in the cabinets and a bad smell during the nights. Otherwise the staff is nice and somewhat helpful when you find them.
