We had an amazing experience with the catamaran we rented last week from Skiathos. The boat is brand new, very well maintained, and fully equipped – watermaker, AC, and generator, all working perfectly. We sailed around the Sporades, and the catamaran was extremely comfortable and reliable, making the trip worry-free. What really made the difference was the team that welcomed us. Babis and his son Manolis were outstanding – friendly, professional, and made the check-in/check-out process smooth and pleasant. They truly made us feel at home on the boat. Manolis was patient, explained everything in detail, and even recommended some hidden spots that made our journey unforgettable. We will definitely come back!

We rented Sun Odyssey 440 Nimertis for two weeks. Boat had not been taken care well. It was very worn out and had lots of smaller and bigger defects (both sails and winch broken, plotter PIN locked, falling shelf, screws and hinges, kitchen sink leaking, cockpit lights not working, batten poorly installed, twice ...) Athenian Yachts manager Michelis Canalis had attitude that since the boat was model 2021 and season was ending, the boat was meeting normal Athenian Yachts quality standards. Disapoinment for us, can not recommend.

We rented the Mayflower, a 51.9 Sun Odyssey, from Athenian Yacht, in Benitses, Corfu. We had a fantastic week in the Northern Ionian. The boat was in very good condition and the company's staff were impeccable professionals with the intention of serving us and helping us with anything we needed. I highly recommend them!

In a nutshell I would advise anyone who is interested in renting a yacht for holidays in the Greek seas to stay away from this agency. Although we had given the deposit (3200 euros ) they required for a catamaran for a weeks holiday in the Ionian sea, due to medical reasons we could not go on with our plans. We informed them more than 2 months in advance that the holiday had to be cancelled and expected our deposit back. Since then, we have been hearing from them all sort of lies and stories, that the money would be returned as soon as a new booking had been made etc. Only to be proven that this specific yacht had never been put back on their site for someone to rent. And during all this time we had been reassured that it would be just a few days for the return of our deposit. All our experience with them has been absolutely and completely irresponsible, unprofessional and unreliable. In fact afterwards we have heard many similar stories about various things they have behaved unprofessionally, I wish we knew better before giving them the deposit, we would have gone to somebody else.

We chartered a Lagoon 46 from Kos for two weeks. Prior to arrival the team at Athenian Yachts, especially Mania, provided help arranging transfers and with our pre-sailing accommodation. From the time of arrival and our departure, the check in and check out was painless and professionally managed. The boat was in excellent condition and very clean. Having had many years of charter sailing this was one of the best shore teams we have dealt with. Many thanks for adding to what is a fantastic sailing holiday!

We chartered SY LILIANE from Lefkas in May 2025. Our experience was very positive and we received an impeccable service from the Athenian Team in Lefkas. At our arrival in the early afternoon we were warmly welcomed by the office team and the bureaucracy was done precisely and fast. The boat was ready and well cleaned. During check-in we received a detailed explanation of the boat pointing out the important things to know about safety onboard, electronics, engine, sails, anchor and where all the equipment is located. The base manager was professional and kind and shared a few tips on route planning in the specific sailing area. We enjoyed the boat throughout the entire week and were able to use everything easily without technical problems. On the last day when approaching the Marina for refuelling we encountered windy and rainy weather and the Athenian Team was there, ready to help. THANK YOU Dinos Fragkopoulos for jumping onboard effortlessly and mooring the boat for us without making anyone feel unsafe or uncomfortable. We look forward to coming back to Lefkas and to continue exploring the beautiful Ionian Islands on SY LILIANE. Cpt. Stelios and all the Sail la Vie Team
