I booked a powerboat through Click & Boat with Batana Navtik. Although we arrived two hours early, the manager got us going immediately as he expected a potential turn in the weather. He also gave us choice in which boat we took, and the boat we took was excellent. It was fast, comfortable, and easy to operate. We highly enjoyed our tour along the Slovenian coast, anchoring here and there for a swim. Highly recommend.

It was fortunate that we were able to get a boat at very short notice in August. Initially, everything seemed a bit disorganized; you basically check in yourself and ask any remaining questions at the end. Since we had chartered an "old lady," it was fine with us that there was a bit of wear and tear here and there. That's perfectly normal. What I have little understanding for, however, is that there were safety-related issues. The topping lift was so worn that, for example, it no longer held in the clamp. When the chain broke while we were anchoring, unfortunately, no assistance was offered. In retrospect, it turned out that the 26-meter-long chain had been attached to an older section of chain with a connecting link and a piece of string. I'm just glad the anchor didn't break during the night in the Bora wind.
