This company were nothing but useless and purposely deceitful, which I will explain in a moment. The boat had many problems, but the worst being a diesel leak. This would have never happened if the boat was properly checked but to save turn around time between clients and reduce the time it takes to clean and check it before the next clients, they skipped these checks. So half way in our trip, we had to go back to the Croatia yachting dock to have it serviced while we stayed at a hotel. They actually didn't want to reimburse us for the two days we wasted, which is insane, considering they didn't even cover the €800 hotel bill we had to absorb while being off the boat. We had to fight for the reimbursement of two days which ended up being worth only 1 days rate. Didn't reimburse us for the fuel or anything either. They didn't have the boat cleaned properly, and the sat nav didn't work most of the time. This was a catastrophic company. Their billing team like others mentioned, are amazing. Always responding fast, but when it's a problem with the boat, they didn't bother helping. Please try and find a more reputable company. I should have looked at the reviews first! Fool on me.

If the customer service worked as efficiently as the billing department, it would be perfect. We took a cruise with Croatia Yachting and honestly, it’s best to avoid them. The check-in service was terrible — no one to assist you, and no one available for the boat handover. More than half of the extra equipment we had reserved wasn’t available. The skipper had only 14 days of sailing experience and didn’t even know how to install the safety net. At check-out, we were assured we’d be refunded for the missing equipment within two weeks, but we haven’t heard anything since. No one responds to our refund requests, either by email or by phone. The agents who were so pleasant when it came to billing have now become rude and unhelpful.

Stay away from them. Had long time ago experienced cheating in croatia, but hoped these days were gone….. croatia yachting proved me wrong! They claim underwater damages to the boat they inherited themselves, and can not prove it was not before the charter. Be ashamed CY!!!! Charter from Biograd in August 2024. Hanse 455

We rented a 2024 Hanse 510 Vivid. The yacht was in terrible condition. It was riddled with defects, damage, and even burns. When we asked for repairs or replacements, the staff said they would come and replace it. After four reminders, nothing was fixed, except for the engine panel, which couldn't be turned off. Upon pickup, the inspector said everything was fine. At the office, we discovered they wanted to deduct a 100 euro deposit for a clogged toilet. When we suggested we go to the yacht and check if it was actually clogged, the inspector changed his mind and said it was fine and they wouldn't deduct the deposit. Beware of attempts to extort a deposit when returning the yacht.

We chartered the boat Alexander for two weeks on 13th of September for two weeks from Marina Kastela. The boat has many small damages like broken hatch handles and wardrobes not locking. The bottom fridge door was also problematic as it was not locking but those were not very important problems. Our two weeks were without any problems. We carefully sailed around Adriatic, and we had calm two weeks. We returned back to the Marina on the 26th and the check out procedure was swift and they told us they we should wait for the divers report. Tomorrow morning we learned that there is a damage on the rudder. As we never experienced anything particular with the rudder we were surprised and talked with the base manager. He was nice and we had long conversations with generic stuff like I am with you and we now that is so sad but accidents happen kind of stuff. When we asked for the price for the damage the manager told us that, because of the severity of the damage, which is just a scratch on the rudder,they need to lift the boat and fix it on land and this process will cost 611 €. Very kindly the manager deducted some of the amount from the amount which we should pay. This is excessive. We knew we didnt have any accident but even if we had any, for a scratch, 611 € is too much. We accept our failure of checking the rudder and propeller by diving after we got the boat but there are other stuff happened after this fine. We went to check how the process of lifting is done and all of the fixing process took 25 mins. including the 10 minute lifting and putting back to the see process. The maintenance guy cured the crack with a Venetian putty which we learned after we contacted the company and sprayed black paint. It is highly possible that this procedure would wear down after some time and if you don't check the rudder, you would have to pay an absurt amount of money for a scratch. We are sad that there is an outcome like this after a really beautiful 2 weeks of sailing. There are much much better companies around the region. If you have the chance choose them. I am not suggesting croatia yachting to anyone and we are sad that this is as it is. Their response for our plead for a solution was also generic as we understand that they don't care too much. If they answer to this review you will probably read this sentence: "we know that it is really frustrating to find out about underwater damages. But damages would happen and we know that you damaged the rudder etc." They don't care about the real reason of the problem. Even if we did something, which we know we didn't, it was just a scratch. So final advise, if you work with this company, everyday check your rudder, look for damages. Even scratch with your hand cause the black spray paint will wear out. I should also add that the people who worked at the checkout and checkin process are really helpful and great. I give them five stars. But the company as a whole is a let down. You have many options around split. Choose them.

Top company. The best charter experience this season, the absolute highlight. Very good service, boats in perfect conditions and well configured. The team is competent and friendly, we will come back for sure.

Helpful and professional

"Standby to get screwed" We have just arrived back from our sailing trip in Croatia, having booked through Nautilus Yachting (UK company), which sells holidays on behalf of Croatia Yachting. Whilst the actual sailing was good (well obviously - it's the Adriatic in August) we pretty much got screwed over at the end. On day 4 of the charter, a winch broke through NORMAL USE - quite how, I do not know - but one of the components popped out and into the sea. On return to base, the technician quotes us €1600 for an entire new winch, stating that you can't buy individual parts. Fortunately I had already found the part online for €300, showed the guy and he agreed to reduce. 99% of customers would have just paid it and lost their entire deposit. I also accidentally stepped on a toilet window whilst adjusting sails and it cracked, cutting my foot. As a keen sailor, I know that it's good practice to avoid stepping on hatches but I'm convinced this window should Not have cracked in the way that it did. Total bill €460. From reading other reviews, I understand that the deposit can take a long while to come back, though the man at the desk did NOT notify me of this. I shall update this review in the coming days.

I was on Bali 4.6. for a week with my friends. It was amazing. The boat was perfect. It was luxurious and spacious. The Croatia Yachting Charter is the best Charter in Croatia! They were friendly and very helpful the whole trip. Furthermore, we had a Jet Ski Spark with us and I would recommend it to everyone! We had much more fun with it.

We had an absolutely terrible experience with Croatia Yachting and I strongly advise anyone considering them to stay away. The boat we received was completely dirty, poorly maintained, and broken from the start. The shower pump did not work at all, making it impossible to use basic facilities. Instead of taking responsibility for providing a defective boat, the company tried to blame the skipper, saying he “didn’t know how to press the button.” This was nothing but an excuse to cover up their negligence. To make matters worse, they charged us €570 for their own failure, effectively stealing our money through lies and manipulation. It is shocking how unprofessional, dishonest, and disrespectful their approach was. A yacht charter should be about relaxation and trust – with Croatia Yachting we got the opposite: stress, broken equipment, and a company that scams clients instead of taking care of them. Save yourself the frustration and book with a company that respects their guests and delivers what they promise. Croatia Yachting has proven they do not.

Just returned from Croatia, where our skipper Ivor created one of the most amazing and memorable experiences ever. From setting sail to discovering surreal coves and custom meals, we had an unbelievable time while on the water. Ivor is skilled, funny, and was the perfect skipper and host for our group of 8. I recommend him and Croatia Yachting to everyone looking to explore a beautiful part of the world! 5 out of 5 and hope to sail with Ivor again soon!

Just completed a week-long vacation on a catamaran with Ivor as our captain. He was a great, accommodating and knowledgeable guide who took us to less-traveled coves and islands. Ivor was our local expert beyond sailing and provided restaurant recommendations and assisted with reservations including for island-based excursions. Ivor was great for this trip from confident, safe sailing to local knowledge. He understands how to read the room and boat dynamic and also helps with teaching local fishing techniques. He even helped with a fresh catch for lunch. We could not have asked for a more knowledgeable guide for our time. I highly recommend hiring Ivor for your next adventure.

We had an amazing week-long vacation with Ivor, where we visited so many beautiful coves and islands. We had done a boat trip in Croatia a few years ago and this was a completely different experience with a local expert. There is no way we could have found and experienced Croatia without his experience planning + we could not have asked for a more knowledgeable guide for our time. Great trip from start to finish. From the time we arrived at Marina Baotic to the time we left, everyone and everything provided by Croatia Yachting was excellent. The boat was brand new and the assistance provided by Rocco and the CY team on our arrival and departure was great. The skipper organised by the company (Stipe Jelavić) was friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable (especially his technical ability and knowledge of the Croatian coast and islands). I’m already on the website planning for next year.
