We had good communication with the charter company both before and during the trip. They were accommodating with our requests and flexible in the planning phase, which we really appreciated. The boat was in good overall condition and everything worked as expected throughout the week. When we took over the boat, we noticed a broken window, which was recorded only after we pointed it out during check-in. Unfortunately, the check-out process left a less positive impression. We were charged €30 for a broken boat hook and an excessive €100 for a small seat cushion that had flown overboard during the trip. While we understand that damages and losses come with a cost, these prices felt clearly inflated – the kind of classic trick you sometimes encounter in the charter business. Other companies would likely treat such items as consumables and not make a big deal out of it. We had also arranged parking through the charter company, but when it came to retrieving our car (which had our luggage), there was little willingness to help with the logistics, and we were charged an extra €20 for the final day of parking. There are charter companies that handle such situations with more understanding and professionalism – the kind you’re happy to return to. In this case, the overall experience was fine, but the check-out left us with mixed feelings.

Had an amazing experience renting a boat from Dalmatia Charter in Trogir. The team was professional, friendly, helpful and easy to communicate with. Everything was well-organized, and the boat was in perfect condition. Highly recommend them to anyone visiting Trogir!

Great experience with Dalmatia Charter. We have been renting from their base in Trogir and the staff really did their very best to make our experience enjoyable. Although we had some issues here and there, the base manager did his best to solve it. We really appreciated the free support to refuel on the last day. It saved us a lot of time. Great tip regarding app for marina booking was also really cool.

Had a great bareboat sailing vacation thanks to Dalmatia. The excellent customer service began long before we arrived in Trogir Croatia. The office person, Ivana, was very responsive during my search for a boat and charter company. She gave me several bareboat options. Pricing was exceptional. Dalmatia has an older fleet, but the boats have updated sails and equipment. This allows them to have many boats that fit our budget. On the website, there are details of many route suggestions. There are detail of each port, allowing for some advanced planning. Checking in and checking out was a breeze. All the boats in all the marinas head out on Saturday and return the following Friday evening. It can be chaotic. But Dalmatia sends a skipper out on a zodiac to meet you in the harbor, he quickly fueled our boat at the small overcrowded fuel dock, and helped us get safely back to shore. We spent Friday night on the boat and checked out around 8:30am on Saturday. Croatia is definitely one of the top places you should consider for a sailing vacation. And Dalmatia in Trogir is the place to get your boat!
