Update: Had a great first two trips here, the last two have progressively gotten worse to horrendous. The boats have constant issues, major issues, the response is quick but often the issue isn’t repaired and reappears. All of the employees are kind and responsive but the boats are just not maintained to an acceptable level. We had 5 boats in our group and all but one had massive issues (engine failures, batteries not wired correctly draining resulting in drainage, generator and water maker failures), in addition there are small cosmetic issues that appear constantly. Just finished my second trip in 3 months on a DYC boat out of La Paz, both were amazing experiences! Just like any boat charter there are minor issues, but all were answered promptly with professionalism and a smile. Javier was our main contact both times, he is very easy to work with, kind, super responsive (can’t say that about other experiences) and made sure we had everything we needed promptly, he even got us a missing wine opener sent out in a dingy when ours was absent (charter necessity). We had someone injured on our first charter and Javier had transportation and hospital info available immediately upon arrival, and was continually checking in and following up. I can’t say enough about his attentiveness, genuine kindness and outstanding customer service. Danny and Julian were wonderful leaving and returning with minor repairs and assistance…always full of smiles and a helping hand! The boats were cleaner than any charter I’ve been on and well stocked. Only recommendation, bring your own pillows or purchase some in town, DYC pillows aren’t comfortable at all. Other then that both boats were wonderful, DYC team is great and the marina is one of the nicer ones I’ve been to. Sailing out of La Paz is unlike anywhere else I’ve been, absolutely beautiful every turn with so many great anchorages. Will return!

Commendation: Alak Mansoor: Recently, 22-29 Nov 25, my wife and I along with 2 other couples chartered the Bali 4.4 CAT “Life’s Been Good”. Our Skipper for this was Alak Mansoor. I would very much like to commend Alak for his professionalism, competency, and overall outstanding demeanour throughout the charter. From the outset he was most cordial and thorough in his safety and route/itinerary briefings. Throughout he was particularly attentive to the requests of the entire crew. All of the crew commented on his adeptness to sense when to mingle with quests and when not to. In particular, he was most vigilant in monitoring all while in the water swimming/snorkeling. Knowing several folks were not strong swimmers he was always in the dinghy in close proximity ensuring they were okay. This provided them with both confidence and security thus enabling them to fully enjoy the moment. In summary, I would give him the very highest recommendation as a stellar Charter Skipper. He is a first class credit to your company and the larger BVI Sailing Community! BZ!

We rented a 40ft Bali Catamaran from Dream Yacht Charters. LOVE how the entire back of the Bali opens (similar to a garage door.) We had it open all week! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! They answered every question we had and showed us all the equipment, gages, and explained all the operations of the boat before we left. Even gave us maps to use! We went through their checklist together making sure we had everything we needed for our sailing journey for the week. It truly was a trip of a lifetime!!! We can't wait to book with them again in the future! The restaurant at the marina is great too!

We were really impressed with our tour through Dream Yachts. The boats were in good condition. Sailing was wonderful. The add on excursions were worth it. The crew, Sem, Sai, and Bird, were really great. They provided exceptional service. Sem answered phone calls when appropriate. They did their best to make us happy. They consulted with us when we needed to make changes to the itinerary due to the weather. Sai made fabulous food.

I had a wonderful week in Naples, Procida, Ischia, Capri, the Amalfi Coast, and Sorrento. The Bali 5.4 catamaran was in perfect condition and well cleaned. The check-in with Cirio Stefano was pleasant and quick. During the trip, Cirio Stefano was always helpful and provided knowledgeable technical information. Rosa handled the booking and the cabin food provisioning service perfectly. I will definitely book again with Dream Yacht Charter in Naples. Many thanks, Georg

Dream Yacht has really gone down hill! Service is very poor. We booked a 5 day charter with a chef and a skipper. Both chef and skipper were very bare minimum the whole time. Base staff forgot all the drinks that were included with the full board we provisioned. Chef made very small meals, so each dinner we still were hungry. Generator of the boat broke down mid sail so we had no generator. And then we got back they tried to nickel and dime us for small fees for things that never occurred. Don’t be fooled by cheap prices, try Moorings.

Had a fabulous week with Sem - skipper Sai - chef Ampon- crew They all looked after us amazingly. Weather was not always great but they worked around it and did everything they could to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. They always asked what we wanted to do and tried to accommodate it Sem was also very safety conscious and made sure we were always safe when snorkelling. We always felt that our safety and comfort was his main priority Sai’s food was fabulous and Ampon was always happy take us ashore and pick us up late if we asked Overall, a really great week and will definitely book with Dream Yachts again

Good service but poor maintenace. Friendly and helpful staff but the boat I took for 2 weeks was poorly maintained. Battery issues, lights that didnt work, sail that was clearly in terrible condition. All they have to do is get some basic issues sorted out and it would be good. But if you don.t really care, then you don’t care and the Dream Yacht charter becomes Nightmare Yacht charter.

Skipper Sem, Cheff Tip and Bird Crew were Phantastic. The Lagoon 620 was not in good conditions. The new Token system for drinks are not working well. The area is superb and the crew organised everything perfectly.

In general boat was fine with couple of things to work on. When we started we been told we need to provide bin bags and to separate garbage otherwise we will get fines.(that was annoying)We spent 2hours(introduction) talking about how corals can be dangerous instead of explaining us what is really important . Anchor got stuck because we put it “to much inside” ,we asked how to fix it because is rusty and stuck but their English wa so poor that communication was painful.So we had to return to their base in the middle of the storm so they can fix it .Controler wasn’t working and manual was rusty and stuck. Staff are lovely people but unfortunately for people who doesn’t speak French is very hard to understand what they are trying to explain.Feelings bad for saying this but is true . Window above the bed is licking. Fan is not working ,but was left switched ON and it was very warm ,plastic was about to melt .(fire hazard) No basics on boat ,no shower gel or shampoo,you need to take everything with you . You get MASSIVE duvet cover but no duvet.Only tiny blankets. Very poor hospitality. I would not suggest anyone if I’m honest The pilots was the only ones who impressed us ,they was fast ,productive and they know what they are doing.Expirianced. They was also very helpful. We managed to still have some nice time ,thanks to advices from receptionist,we are grateful for her recommendation.She was trying and we appreciate that.Need to improve English just to make communication less painful. THIS IS OUR HONEST FEED BACK ,no hard feelings.

Bequia , Oct 19/25 Captains are arrogant and reckless. Anchored far too close to us and another catamaran. Politely informed him I felt he was too close to us but couldn't care less. Seems to be a sense of entitlement , willing to force their way into a spot even if there are already other vessels anchored there. Sooner or later there is going to be an incident and they are going to learn the hard way about liability.

Best experience of our lives!!! This was a fantastic trip that was made even better by Captain Feen, Chef Chet, and Ree! They provided a fun and memorable experience. They worked tirelessly and did everything they could to ensure our trip was fantastic. This was the trip of a lifetime and although we didn’t think it could be better, the entire Dream Yacht charter team proved that wrong and made it a 5 star experience. Thank you to everyone at Dream Yachts.

I have used this company twice and both times did not have a good experience. This most recent time was much worse. One of our engines failed numerous times and eventually both engines failed, leaving us stranded at sea. We also had sail issues and water maker problems. After being brought back to the marina by another boat, we requested only 2 days (of the 5 total) refund. They agreed but then tried to get us to sign a form that said we would receive a credit in that amount for future booking, not a refund. We did not feel that was appropriate, but they didn’t care. Disappointed with this company yet again and will not use them ever again. I do not recommend. There’s far more reliable companies out there. You might pay more but it’ll be worth it.

We loved our bareboat charter with Dream Yacht out of Sibenik from Marina Zaton. It's laidback and small, easy to maneuver, and the staff were very friendly. The marina is a nice stroll from neighboring Zaton, which offers small shops and lovely konobas. Marina from the marina was especially helpful with chart briefing information, and we thoroughly enjoyed the sailing grounds she recommended. We provisioned our boat via Jam Yacht Supply, which worked perfectly and would 100% do again. This was our eighth bareboat charter, and second in Europe. We definitely recommend it, and hope to return again someday.

The captain and cook were outstanding. Food was delicious. The land crew got us in and out and were very friendly. Thank you for the great experience. The Boat was a 54’ catamaran.

We spent 7 day last Week with the catamaran around Sardinia and -Corsica. It was just fantastic! Our crew skipper Martin and Suzanna were awesome. Helpful, always an open ear for us, friendly and good-humoured. Martin - thank you for the Photo and Videos - dreamly! Suzanne - the meals were excellent! Our fellow travelers were also great :-) Simply 7 unique days!!!

My wife and I had a wonderful time on Dream Palma! I would recommend to everyone. Giannis and Stefania were awesome! The authentic greek food and atmosphere provided by these two was amazing. Great great trip!

THE BEST WEEK OF MY LIFE!!!!!! I was on the Bali 5.4 Aster with Suzy and Martin and I couldn’t say better things! The boat was so clear, so meticulously kept, everything was taken care of. Suzy’s food was the best and freshest I’ve ever ate. Martin had a plan and it was beautifully executed to the T. I will remember this week for the rest of my life. P.S. Myself and a group of 4 friends experienced a 7-day charter with Dream Yacht on the Bali 5.4, and it was 11/10, 5 million stars, trip of a lifetime! Captain Martin and Chef Suzy were professional, kind, and attentive to every detail. The yacht was spotless and beautiful, the food was out of this world!! every day at sea was tailored perfectly to us and what we wanted to do, and we had a blast the whole way. Martin guided us to the best hidden spots in Sardinia and Corsica, while Suzy’s cooking kept us full and happy :) They made us feel like family - we love them and we left with lifelong memories friends. Recently disembarked from the most incredible Costa Smeralda itinerary with Dream Yacht Charters. Our crew, Martin, Sam and Suzanna were exceptional. Extremely kind, attentive and wonderful people. Really excellent meals prepared and served by the crew blew us all away. Martins drone photography of all the stops were really icing on the cake. I would recommend this to everyone!

Just finished our first charter. It was the most amazing experience. The crew - Captain Martin, Sam and Suzanna were phenomenal. They were so helpful and professional. The food on board was great!!! Lots of Mediterranean and Sardinian dishes that were so yummy. Captain took drone photography of all the stops and shared with group which was so fun. This was a 5 star experience!

Good charter company, highly recommended. Top service, boats in good condition. I chartered a Bali Catsmart catamaran there; the handling in the office and the service at the dock were excellent and uncomplicated. The marina in Port Pin Rolland is a great base; I'd be happy to come back.

Based on the mixed reviews, I was a little apprehensive to book through DYC but was pleasantly surprised by our experience. For context, I was the skipper with previous experience booking bareboat charters. On this tour, we were a group of 7 booking a bareboat Bali 4.4 in August 2025. Upon arrival, DYC upgraded us to a Bali 4.6 due to an ongoing generator replacement on the original boat. The onsite staff was very friendly and accommodating to our needs and gave good briefings. We had a fantastic tour in the Exumas and around Nassau, despite winds not being favored in this time of year. In regards to other reviews of this DYC location, it’s possible we were lucky but from my perspective, some of these other reviewers seem to be exaggerating or whining. I get the impression they may not know what they are getting themselves into on a boat charter. Boats have a lot of equipment and things often break. If you expect 100% perfection, you’re going to have a bad time. So my advice is to reset your expectations, treat staff with respect if you encounter issues and be prepared to troubleshoot because that’s what a charter is all about!

brand new boat and great service makes this a perfect charter spot Yoann was very responsive during our one week charter, and came to our boat a couple times to bring us a few missing items and fix things.

Be aware that you pay for 7 days but get only 5 days. Boat is usually not ready before 5pm on a Saturday, so journey starts earliest Sunday morning. Boat needs to be back in the Marina on Friday latest at 4pm and handed over Saturday morning. Poor maintenance of boats - door handles falling off all the time (of course required tools to fix the issue were missing); dinghy engine problematic. AC can only be used when generator is running which burns fuel like crazy because Marinas are not prepared to handle the load. However, skipper from Join The Crew was amazing and despite all the issues, we had a good time but charter is way too expensive for the poor service provided.

We had an amazing experience in Guadeloupe. Jane (FL) was very helpful in the planning process. We were impressed by the entire Dream Yacht team. They answered all of our pre-booking and planning questions, all of our rides were on time, the boat was in good shape, and check -in we efficient but thorough. We have chartered in many places in the Caribbean. This trip stacks up with the best. It reminded us far more of the south pacific than the Caribbean. We hired a cook for the first time for this trip because we had a large group (8). Victoria ended up being so much more. She was a local guide, she knew the waters, and she was very attentive to the meal preferences of the group. Also, when we happened to catch a couple of Mahi she showed us how to clean it so that we could use the entire fish. 3 meals + many Accra came from only 2 fish.

Subject: Formal Complaint – Unsafe Anchoring & Unprofessional Conduct by Skipper of Gold Finch, 52ft Lagoon Catamaran – Dream Yacht Charter Date of Incident: 14 August 2025 Location: Skilomango Southwest Bay, Agistri, Greece Vessel Involved: Gold Finch, 52ft Lagoon Catamaran, Dream Yacht Charter Incident Summary: While our vessel was anchored in Skilomango West Bay, Greece, on 14 August 2025, 19:00 the skipper of Gold Finch anchored his vessel in extremely close proximity to ours — estimated at no more than 10 cm — in a manner demonstrating poor seamanship and disregard for safe anchoring distances. This occurred while we were not on board. Details of Concern: 1. Unsafe Anchoring Distance – A 10 cm separation between vessels at anchor represents a clear risk of collision and damage, particularly in the event of wind shift or swing at anchor. 2. Poor Seamanship – The anchoring position demonstrated a lack of spatial awareness, inadequate risk assessment, and disregard for accepted maritime safety practices. 3. Reckless Conduct – Upon our request to speak with the skipper, we were informed he had gone ashore to dine, leaving his vessel in the charge of an inexperienced and apparently unaware Italian crew. 4. Failure to Address the Situation – The skipper did not return to his vessel within an hour of our request to meet him, leaving the unsafe situation unresolved. Request for Action: This incident reflects a serious breach of professional standards and basic seamanship expected of a commercial skipper operating under the Dream Yacht Charter name.
