One of the best charters ever. Despite the fact that we went to sea very off-season, the boat was perfectly prepared, clean and fully operational. Chrter team members were amazing. They helped me with all documents and familiarized me with the boat. All this above and beyond their usual duties.

Great experience! We chartered a Dufour 530 for a week in the Aegean (Alimos-Bay of Vidi-Ydra-Ermioni-Spetses-Ermioni-Poros-Alimos). Yacht was in good condition and as described. Smooth handling of the delivery. Only issue we encountered was that with big fridge/freezer on board and no solarpanels the yachts are meant to.be on shore power at least every second night. We stayed at anchorages which caused anchor winch and bowthruster to stop working due insufficient power. In any event we had great communication with Capt Stefano also on the return. The Istion crew in Alimos are 1st class and super helpful. If anything should be improved it would be the overly aggressive fuel trucks on return who interfere with the mooring and try to give the impression they are part of Istion. All other things were perfect and we hope to return soon again. Regards John

We stayed several days in Marina Skradin during skipper course, and absolutely loved it. The place is peaceful, well kept and the staff are wonderful. Lucija is a great host, very nice and pleasure to talk to. Marko from ACI Marina who was incredibly kind and helpful. Our charter with Istion Yachting was perfect from start to finish.

We chartered a Lagoon 380 catamaran with Istion from Corfu for one week. Overall a good experience. Orientation during embarkation needs to be more thorough. Boat condition could have been better. Katerina, the charter manager, was pretty amazing. Returning the boat was a five star experience: staff was very helpful and efficient, including Dirk, Fiona and Alkimones.

We have done 4 trips in 4 years chartering from Istion. 3 weeks, 4 weeks, 5 weeks and 8 weeks. Our captain, Antonis, has been amazing! His knowledge of sailing, Greek history and the islands is endless and he has been kind enough to share this with us, our family and friends on our adventures. His planning to insure we had a good time and avoiding bad weather was impeccable. We have had the Greek adventures of a lifetime! Throughout our adventures the staff at all of Istion's bases have always looked after us and we would highly recommend Istion and Antonis to everybody!!

Chartered an Excess11 from Lefkas with Istion (first time with them). Booking, preparation, check-in and boarding processes were smooth fast and reliable. Perfect way to start the sailing vacation. The kind and helpful staff and a few small welcoming extras made it a very pleasant experience. Catamaran was is great condition, clean and prepared. Return was likewise easy and fast. Istion overall made a very good impression on us, we are happy to charter with them again in the future.

We have been chartering with Istion in Skradin for the past two years and every experience has been outstanding. In fact, the great time we had with them inspired me to get my skipper’s license and fall in love with sailing. All boats are brand new and perfectly equipped (this year we sailed on a Dufour 41, 2024), the location in Skradin is simply magical and ideal for planning routes both north and south, and most importantly – the team is fantastic: professional, always available, and genuinely kind. In 2023 and 2024 I sailed with friends, and this year I also did my very first family trip as a new skipper with my wife and two kids (8 and 11) – and everything went smoothly thanks to the excellent support from the base team. We felt safe, welcomed, and truly enjoyed every moment. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a top-level charter experience in Croatia.

Last week we sailed off the coast of beautiful Croatia. We booked our flotilla trip through Tubber and Istion Yachting. We set off from Skradin on a beautiful boat, the Dufour 430. We received a friendly welcome at the marina. The boat is spacious and equipped with four cabins and two toilets. It's fully equipped with every luxury. Clean, beds are made, and there are plenty of towels and bath towels. This boat also has a wonderful outdoor shower and BBQ. Check-in and check-out went smoothly at the marina where Istion Yachting's office is located. We had an amazing sailing week with the family and skipper. We will definitely be back and will definitely rent our boat from Istion Yachting.

We chartered the catamaran First Love, beginning our journey from the marina in Skradin. While our skipper was friendly and made an effort to show us picturesque coastal towns and even arranged a lovely local meal at a countryside restaurant, he lacked the experience necessary to handle a vessel of this size under sail. As a result, we relied on the motor for approximately 90% of the trip — a major disappointment, given that our primary goal was to enjoy a true sailing experience. The hostess we booked was also courteous, but unfortunately, she failed to fulfill the pre-arranged grocery list submitted through the rental company. Essential items — including drinking water — were missing at departure, forcing us to purchase supplies from overpriced marina shops during the trip. Additionally, several onboard issues negatively impacted our experience: The air conditioning in the main cabin was non-functional until our skipper personally purchased new fuses and repaired it. The dinghy, which we had explicitly requested as part of the equipment, was unusable from the beginning. This left us stranded on the catamaran at various stops, unable to access shore unless we swam — making visits to restaurants or bars practically impossible. However, the most concerning issue was the complete lack of customer support from the charter company, Istion. Despite multiple attempts to communicate the ongoing problems, their responses were dismissive and unhelpful. Eventually, we received a curt and unprofessional reply that made it clear they had no intention of assisting us. While Croatia itself was breathtaking and we thoroughly enjoyed the natural beauty of the region, the experience was overshadowed by the unacceptable service and attitude of the rental company. In conclusion: we strongly advise against chartering with Istion. Their lack of professionalism and disregard for customer satisfaction significantly diminished what should have been a memorable and enjoyable sailing holiday.
