As a skipper I feel responsibility to help my crew in many ways especially when I see unfair situation which occurred them on our sail trip from Preveza. I must say that Kekeris Yachts and Alpha technician team which work together had scam my guests on a very rude way. I can write a book about many issues that they provided to us but I ll be fokus only on one thing from which they took 1500e from our deposit. On our first day we shortly open the sails before arriving to Vasiliki and than on closing the main one in just 2-3 seconds the whole winch fall out from the mast cause probably inside bearing wheel has broken in between on first sail opening making winch mechanism loosen without connection to the other bearing wheel which is directly rolling the rail on which is hoisted the sail. Its not my first time using main roll system and I know perfectly how it works. I remember opening the sail without any effort so we didnt make nothing to brake it but obviosly that bearing wheel was already on its end from who knows how long history of usage and who knows how previous crews and captains had use it. Its made from metal not from paper and cant be destroyed just like that. Its very silly to claim something like that....I told them that I am not a fool and that what they say about our guilty for breaking it is hillarious. They didnt even wanted to hear what happend and how it happend. They make their decision on their own without any communication with us. They were ignoring us till the very end until we left the boat. This is my 4th season in Greece as a free lance skipper so I experienced many charter companies. It seems that Kekeris and Alpha are one of those which invest in their boats by clients stolen deposits. Even now they installed used part from other boat on our boat and they charged us full amount like they putted new part which they didnt buy. I experienced good charter agencies that are aware of the logical point that parts over usage come to the end of its lasting and when this happend they come and install new parts on their own costs which is normal and responsibile. Our pasarela on the first use on second day in Vathy in Ithake broken immidiately...first day we stayed on anchor in front of Vasiliki. All welded parts were cracked and rusty, literally 80% of weldings cracked making down rails completly off the side rails so I tied all with a rope. Luckily no injury for anybody but this pasarela state is a reference for others parts of the boat including main sail roll mechanism which fall apart cause of its bad state. I feel sorry for my guests cause this is not fair and sadly there is nobody who can helps us about it. I wrote this so you can know more about Kekeris and Alpha team and their way of doing buisness which is not acceptable by anybody with common sense. They act like thieves...and as I heard later we are not the only ones who get damaged by them with same manner. Also I heard stories that they didnt paid their skippers and so they own them money.

The best. we rented a yacht at the middle of July and it went very fast and smooth checking in as well as checking out. they were very helpful on the phone during the week and even send a technician to solve a problem in the shower wen we were on an island, miles away from the headquarters. Highly recommended charter company.
