Extremely Disappointing Experience with Kiriacoulis Sardinia – Never Again As a professional skipper and travel agent working worldwide with many charter companies, I have never had such a negative experience as with Kiriacoulis Sardinia. We chartered the Catamaran Elefteria (Bali 41) from 2–9 August 2025, and the boat was delivered in terrible condition: • Doors could not be closed due to broken locks – extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. • The level of cleanliness was unacceptable – the yacht was poorly cleaned and not prepared properly for handover. • The handover process with the base staff (Simon) was very difficult, unprofessional, and frustrating. The worst part was the outboard engine of the dinghy, which stopped working immediately after first use. We reported this right away, and it was promised directly on board that €160 would be refunded. Despite multiple phone calls and emails, and direct communication with the base manager Simon, the refund has never been paid. Instead of taking responsibility, I was ignored and even mocked, being told it was “not his problem.” Because of this, I have now lost a very important client who booked this extra directly, and my company’s reputation has been damaged. As a captain with thousands of nautical miles across the world, I can say with certainty: this was one of the most unprofessional and disappointing experiences I have ever had with a charter company. ⚠️ I will never do business with Kiriacoulis again, and I strongly advise everyone else to avoid this company when booking a yacht charter.

We have chartered yachts from Kiriacoulis multiple times and have in fact just booked our fourth bareboat charter in the same Yacht for next spring already. The back office do a great job with providing yacht availability, booking and registration but the Lefkas Office service delivery with Yannis and Olga is exemplary. The Yachts are always well prepared, safe and well equipped. We have never had any issues at all. Always there to help with departure and return it is a pleasure - almost family!!

We have done 6 trips with Kiriacoulis. 5 in Greece and one in Croatia. In every case - the boat was in perfect condition and ready right on time. Now that the marinas have figured out how to get the shopping done for you the experience is even better. To all of our US friends - Kiriacoulis is the best - professional, many boats to choose from, and great support staff. We will be back to Greece for another trip very soon. Have used Kiracoulis a number of times. The budget boats are... well budget. Don't expect a pristine boat with everything perfect but you do get what you pay for. Had the odd issue with things breaking - lazy jack lines, autohelm that wandered off doing it's own thing etc but nothing major. Kiricoulis always very responsive to issues. Go up the range and the boats and kit are much better reflecting the increased cost.

Great company. I received a great boat for 1 week. Check in and check out procedure without any problems. Very nice people. The boat was prepared perfectly. I highly recommend!!!!

We had an issue with one of their professional skippers. I cannot recommend chartering with them, especially not with one of their skippers. The professional skipper was very bad at docking the yacht and hit our boat because he was unprepared and also very rude. The other thing that was very upsetting was the behavior of the base manager, showing no interest in solving the situation. If you want to enjoy your sailing holidays in Greece I cannot recommend chartering with kiriacoulis!
