Check-in with Zvonimira at the office was quick and easy; she gave us all the information we needed for our trip. Special praise goes to Ana (an employee). She's very helpful, pitches in, and knows what she's doing. We'll definitely charter again in Hramina and highly recommend Pitter.

Excellent service, excellent staff. We rented a boat in Göcek, Turkey — a Bavaria 46. Due to my own mistake, we tore the rear mooring line. The company staff asked for €100, which we paid. Later, I told the local base manager that this wasn’t a win-win for everyone. I reported approximately six minor issues we had on the boat, one of which was water leaking through a window into one of the cabins. The manager inspected the window, poured water over it, and acknowledged the discomfort. He left and came back with €100. Outstanding attitude — highly recommended. All worked out well with checking in and out. The Astrea 42” fulfilled our expectations. Trogir as a base was convenient being closer to ap than Split and the old town is fantastic! The pricelevel of mooring and restaurants, drinks etc has unfortunately gone upp a lot since last time (2021). Picture from Vis island.

Thank you Pitter and Skipper Matija, After a good experience last summer in Greece, we hired again Pitter Catamaran in Crotia this year. Catamaran was new and clean. Last year , we had towels. This year no towels. We had a very expreienced skipper named Matija. He was very professional, knows the islands, Very organised.He proposed every evening dining places. We rented a Lagoon 46, boat name “Excellence”, from Pitter Yachting in the last week of August, and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. • The dinghy was leaking and the outboard engine fuel tank was empty. • No shore power adapter was provided; after repeatedly asking we were told to wait 20 minutes, and later falsely told we would have received one if we had waited longer. We had to rent adapters in marinas ourselves. • Numerous technical and comfort issues onboard: leaking windows leaving a cabin wet, missing blinds and faulty mosquito screens, broken fridge handles, freezer not working properly, unusable stereo volume knob, prepaid WiFi not working. • Strong sewage smell in both hulls, masked with chemical perfume cartridges. This gave me headaches every evening. • Generator problems: a loudly ticking fuel pump and poor mounting causing vibration and rattling. When we reported the ticking fuel pump issue via WhatsApp, we were simply ignored. • A section of the saloon ceiling even fell down during the week. We had to call technical staff to the marina to repair it. The first reaction we received, insinuating that this was somehow our fault, was very disappointing – especially as it came on top of so many other problems. • We rented the ice machine for €80, but it was delivered dirty. The coffee machine also had to be rented for €80, which we found absurd for a boat of this class, as it should be a basic item. We even brought our own coffee machine to avoid paying for it. Even the technical staff admitted they expected more complaints with this boat and considered us lenient. It is unacceptable that with this prior knowledge, Pitter still sends out a family for a holiday week on a yacht costing nearly €9,000. When we raised issues at check-in, we were told: “The boat is 5 years old and it’s the end of the season, don’t worry too much about the problems you’ll find.” We find this attitude shocking. Booking later in the season should not mean accepting such serious defects. At checkout, the staff confirmed our complaints but said we had to take it up with the office, where we were simply told to “send an email.” This felt like being sent from pillar to post. We do not yet know how Pitter will handle this, but what is certain is that we had a very unpleasant week. A holiday that should have been about fun and family connection was instead overshadowed by constant problems, bad smells, and disappointment. I will give two stars, a low score I do not often give. But compared to other charters in the harbour of trogir/ kastela I’ve been negatively surprised over and over by Pitter. I also hope this review finds the owner of the ‘Excellence’ as well. I would not be to happy if my boat was being maintained and rented out in this manner.

I would strongly advise against chartering with Pitter Yachtcharter. They failed to clearly inform us that the boat had to be returned a full day earlier by 6 PM, even though their own Terms & Conditions say otherwise. This misleading policy caused unnecessary stress and spoiled the end of our trip. Even worse, the staff made racist jokes about us being from Serbia – something completely unacceptable and unprofessional. The boat was not handed over at the agreed time, and when we finally got it, the toilets were dirty and poorly maintained. Overall, this was one of the worst charter experiences I’ve ever had: unprofessional staff, deceptive rules, and poor maintenance. I would never book with Pitter Yachtcharter again and strongly recommend others to avoid them.

We had a very bad experience with Pitter Yacht at Marina Hramina. At check-in we were pressured to buy other insurance, the toilets were dirty, and equipment did not work properly (ice maker we paid extra for, oven and freezer) During check-out, staff accused us of blocked toilets (which was false – we tested it ourselves and everything worked). First they said they wouldn’t charge us, then suddenly asked us to pay for 2 toilets and late check-out. We received only handwritten receipts for those 2 toilets and late check out and after arguing they gave us recepit with a ridiculous description (“Aqua Man jumped into the water”) instead of a fiscal invoice. This looks like pure fraud. Also, employees at the check-in made inappropriate comments about our nationality Very unprofessional, rude and dishonest staff. Be careful, the employees of the company are scammers who take the money for themselves

Be careful, once you return the boat they will be trying to charge you extra for any perceived damages they can possibly find. We ended up paying for the dinghy’s worn out propeller, as probably they guy before me and whoever rented the boat after Us. I should have requested to have the propeller dismounted and taken, since I already paid for it… Wont be returning.

Pitter Yachting provided excellent service. We spent a week on a Bavaria C38 departing from Trogir. Upon delivery, the boat was impeccably clean and the check-in procedures were handled quickly and efficiently. The boat was in excellent condition and well equipped, apart from a few minor flaws in the furniture. Trogir Marina is recommended for experienced sailors, as the docks are very close together and there is little room for maneuvering. At check-out as well, the staff were courteous and efficient.

We had a truly pleasant experience chartering a yacht through this company. From start to finish, everything was handled with great professionalism and a genuinely welcoming attitude. One of the standout aspects was how easily the staff switched between English and German, making every interaction smooth and stress-free. Everyone we met — from the office team to the cleaning staff — was consistently friendly, helpful, and respectful. A special thanks to Tom, who assisted us with various small things during our stay and handled our checkout. He was not only efficient and professional but also had a fantastic sense of humour, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend — a well-run company with excellent people behind it.
