Beautiful sailboats, great staff, and an idyllic place… Giovanni, Max, and Sharon took special care of us on the last charter of the season over Christmas. Our Leopard 42 felt brand new and everything worked flawlessly. The Aeolian Islands are a wonderful place to sail. Ring up the folks at SailItalia if you want to give it a try.

I have wanted to sail through the Aeolian Islands for a long time but was reluctant to do so with my own boat because there are so few moorages of these volcanic islands. So ... this was a voyage I wanted to do but that I didn't want to organize. The SailItalia flotilla turned out to be a great choice. The lead crew, led by Dario, was tremendous. Absolutely passionate about these amazing islands, really fun and very knowledgeable. Real, experienced seamen, and not just paper experience. Also, being from Sicily makes a huge difference; Dario knows everyone, and everyone knows Dario. This made everything so easy, even in places where I was not sure we would find moorage. A great experience. On the practical side: The SailItalia base is actually kind of cool in my view. Yes, the port is purpose built, but their base has its charms and the team is delightful. The boat was in perfect order. Check in and check out were smooth.

We were very impressed by the team at Sail Italia. The boat was well maintained and ready in time for us to get away the first evening. We only had one issue with the anchor light the team were on it and sorted a solution immediately. Many thanks to Roberto and colleagues. We hope to be back soon.

The Sail Italia team is very friendly and helpful, welcoming you, helping you with departure and return. We had the smallest sailboat in the fleet, a Sun Odyssey 319, which was ideal for 2. I think this boat is too narrow for 4 people, especially during beautiful evenings in the cockpit. The only downsides are: no cockpit lighting under the bimini (we had to tinker with a flashlight), poor USB connectivity (you have to recover a cigarette lighter socket into a USB connector); Positive points: the boat is generally in good condition and functional.

Although our Beneteau 41.1 (Malika) was nine years old (very old for a charter), it was well taken care of by the staff at Sail Italia. We had the hiccups of a charter (smelly heads, stubborn outboard, and broken windlass) but everything worked out fine - timely WhatsApp responses helped a lot. If you are new to chartering, you need to have an open mind, some patience, and some grace since you are operating a complex machine - a machine that’s being handled by novices before you. Would come back again to revisit the national park on the hook.

Had a fantastic food and wine flotilla vacation with Sunsail via Sail Italia. All the people from Sail Italia were great. Specifically want to recognize Eleno and Alessandra who worked for the flotilla. Very knowable of the local area and boat repair made the trip amazing.

I was on a Leopard 45. The boat was impeccable, the base manager Roberto was waiting for me at my arrival even if my flight was delayed. He made me feel at home. I really recommend them for your next charter!

We joined a flotilla here on Sept 7.Boat was great 42 Leopard cat. The lead crew from Sailitalia Alassandra. Eleno.Andrea could not of been any better or kinder.Unfortunatel the westher affected and cancelled Sorrento destination thus no Pompei tour.A lot of the group thought we could of scheduled a different day there but dockage is hard to get.

We rented a Leopard 42 (Myg V) from Sailitalia for a week and were a little unsure beforehand as not all the reviews were positive. However, these concerns were completely unfounded; our experience with Sailitalia was consistently very positive. The booking process was very quick and pleasant - many thanks to Irene. In general, all the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout. The boat was clean, in good condition and the handover and return of the boat went quickly and without any problems. I have rented a boat from several charter companies before (e.g. Pitter); overall Sailitalia was probably the best of them. Many thanks to the whole team!

The expectation of high quality service was not met. They went out of their way to make the boarding difficult in order for us to pay for extra services. Although the boat was ready before lunch and it was far from busy we were told to wait until 6 pm “as per contract” or pay 110 euros for early boarding. The briefing was unsatisfactory and they wouldn’t give me (the skipper) the charts and papers until the person who booked the boat arrived (she was late due to delayed flight from the UK). The handover afterwards was also not a pleasant experience. We have done this several times before and compared with other places this was not a pleasant experience.
