We had a great bareboat charter with **Sunsail in St. Martin**. The boat was clean, well-maintained, and fully ready for our trip. The Sunsail base team was friendly, efficient, and made both check-in and check-out easy. The chart briefing was clear and helpful, with solid local advice on routes and anchorages. Sailing the area was fantastic—beautiful water, great stops, and ideal conditions. We’d absolutely charter with Sunsail again and highly recommend them.

Had a great Bareboat Charter with Sunsail in Placencia Belize. The pre-arrival process was easy and the provision ordering (online) was very nice. Our flights were delayed due to weather and Renee, Diego, Cricket and Pablo made sure we got out on the water as quickly as possible. The yacht systems overview and chart briefing were both informative and thorough as it was our first time on a Sunsail 454. Dylan was very helpful when we had a question about the boat while out on the water. Having been to a dozen different bases around the Caribbean, I'd say Sunsail Belize was one of the better run operations I've seen. All of the boats appeared to be well taken care of and the staff was very responsive and helpful in all scenarios. I'd definitely recommend Sunsail Belize and wouldn't hesitate to book with them again.

Great Location. Professional Operation. Range of Yachts. Friendly Staff. This was our second year chartering for a fortnight out of Lefkas Base. I highly recommend it if you want beautiful destinations without the tourists. Go in October when the weather is lovely, everywhere is still open and the prices are right. No operation is perfect but I was particularly impressed with the improvements to sailing directions that they made after my feedback from last year. We can now sail right around Lefkas and Cephalonia which is great. The mark of a good business is how it improves itself and Sunsail Lefkas Base went above and beyond on this occasion.

We recently had a wonderful sailing week with Sunsail Marina Agana, joining the Hvar flotilla. Our instructor Tadek was outstanding — very friendly, highly experienced, and an excellent teacher, even for our child. He made everyone on board feel safe and confident, even those without any formal sailing training. His calm and professional approach really made a difference throughout the week. The flotilla crew — Finn, Becky, and Jesse — were absolutely lovely, always helpful, cheerful, and creating a great atmosphere every day. The boat was in excellent condition, and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. As returning customers — this was our 7th time sailing with Sunsail — we were once again delighted. We can only highly recommend Sunsail for anyone looking for a perfect sailing holiday!

Great sailing location, great service by Sunsail, great boat. Jane and Sinéad looked after us really well on our flotilla (early Oct 25), a daily briefing ensured we knew where we had to be and by what time, then it was up to us to make our way in our own time, visiting places we wanted on route. They organised docking and great places to eat. We'd deffo return and recommend to others. Being part of a flotilla ensures you can get into ports easily (and they are there to help guide you in, grabbing the ropes and directing) and it's fun to get to know everyone in the other boats, good banter and friendliness.

Our first flotilla experience out of Lefkas in the first week of October was brilliant. The boat was a pleasure and the Sunsail crew all fantastic, but a particular shout out to Jane, Skipper who gave such encouraging calm support, despite some tricky weather and berthing conditions! Highly recommended for anyone considering a flotilla holiday.

Thank you Liv, Becca & Vlad on lead boat for a great week sailing on Elafiti Flotilla. A very friendly, professional and fun team, providing lots of support when needed. Liv's detailed briefings, physical support and flexible approach were much appreciated. Becca was enthusiastic, friendly and well organised. Vlad was a very approachable & attentive Engineer, frequently checking for any issues and completing running repairs as we wined & dined. Overall a very good Team.

Just finished a 7day flotilla out of Lefkas. The sunsail staff was excellent. The flotilla staff were helpful and friendly making the experience much more pleasant. The boat was in great condition which made the trip far more fun. I would definitely recommend Sunsail to anyone.

My wife and I booked a one week sail trip out of Dubrovnik, Croatia for our 40th birthday celebration. The booking process was relatively easy with plenty of support and reminders along the way. The Dubrovnik tour will be relaxing and chill. Several Must see National Parks, Good food, and a lot of unique wineries. On their website it states you can also choose to sail to Montenegro, however they never told us you need 10 days in advance notice in order to do so. We wish we would had known this ahead of time. If you're looking for a party vibe, then Split, Croatia base will be your ideal destination. We also reserved their wifi which works great. You can take it with you on shore and has great connectivity. We also pre-bought Fuel from Sunsail, but later learn that it's cheaper if you fuel yourself upon returning to port. We got lucky to have a good Skipper on-board that made our sailing a bit more pleasant. Would recommend to something of doing a sailing trip, but please be sure to your research before booking.

I have only positive things to say about our Sunsail holiday in September this year. When asked what I enjoyed most about the holiday, my response quite simply was 'Everything'. From the point of booking, to our arrival in Croatia, the transfer from Split to Marina Agana arranged by Sunsail, the meeting with our Skipper for the week and then on to our most amazing sailing holiday, we could not have been more impressed with the professionalism of the whole operation and the helpful attitude and warm welcome of all the personnel we encountered. Our yacht was spotlessly clean and very well appointed and our Skipper, Dave, was most amenable and an absolutely first class instructor to those in our party taking their Day Skipper Practical Qualification. The Croatian coastline is utterly stunning and we were also impressed with the cleanliness of the shower facilities at the Marinas we visited during the course of our week. So much did we enjoy this holiday that we fully intend to return to Marina Agana to sail with Sunsail again next year. Thank you Sunsail for a brilliant job well done.

Spent a week on the Sunsail Elafiti flotilla. Amazing time and a fabulous lead crew. Liv was so helpful and accommodating as the skipper. Becca made sure we were all catered for as the flotilla host. Sensational Sunsail flotilla week cruising the beautiful Elaphiti islands. Stunning scenery, welcoming people, fabulous food and the odd drop of wonderful local wine. The wind was elusive at times, but the magnificent Sunsail lead crew of Liv and Vladimir were tireless in ensuring we all had a ball. Nothing was too much trouble, both were incredibly knowledgeable, very professional and patient and just great fun from start to finish. They made the trip very special indeed. Liv offered some really great sailing tips and did so with such charm and humour. We have sailed for years, but Med mooring continues to jangle the nerves...Liv’s calm advice made it all easy. She was absolutely inspirational for teenage girl crew in particular. A new love for sailing ignited! Vladimir, encyclopaedic in his knowledge of the tech, the territory and the history was also outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble. Both a credit to Sunsail and the epitome of what is magnificent about being around yachts. On which our wider flotilla friends were a delight…firm new friendships made. Thanks you Sunsail Dubrovnik and a huge thank you to Liv and Vladimir from team Happiness!!!!!’

We’ve just had the most amazing week exploring the Elaphiti islands of Dubrovnik on our Sunsail charter….our hosts for the week Liv & Vlad were outstanding….beautiful people! Very professional but at the same time super friendly and kind! We will definitely keep in touch….the yacht was superb! Very spacious for my husband and myself plus our crew of 4 teenagers…..practically brand new which was lovely! We met some lovely families on the flotilla and made loads of very happy memories! We went on a sailing trip with Sunsail this summer and it was an amazing experience!! Super well organized and the boat was in very good condition. The highlight of the trip was our skipper Manuel! He had great knowledge of sailing, knows the area very well, and was welcoming and friendly. He made us feel comfortable from the start and was attentive to all the details. We chartered a Leopard 42 with Sunsail Agana in July 2025 for a family of 5. The check-in and check-out was very professional and efficient. The service was excellent (they even offer to moor the boat for you on your return which is stress free particularly during peak time-bravo!). The boat was in good condition, well equipped and very clean. Agana Marina has all modern amenities you need. lots of restaurants/bars/shops and is surprisingly lively, especially on Friday night with live music/events. Overall we had a great family holiday. I highly recommend Sunsail Agana.

What an amazing week. We had an excellent time on "Ruby Too" sailing the southern Hvar route. Our lead crew were faultless. Finn was calm, collected and knowledgeable which put us all at ease and he used every opportunity he could to share his knowledge - his passion for sailing is clear! Our tech Hrvoje was so incredibly hardworking, constantly checking everything was working as it should be - he never stops! We had no issues with our boat but that didn't stop him from taking the time to check everything over. And finally our host Elle was so bubbly, passionate, and couldn't do enough for us. She kept the laughter flowing and kept us all entertained all week. From suggestions of lunch stops, restaurants, mooring options and everything in between, our "Krka One" lead crew were absolutely top notch. The boat was pristine, well maintained and had everything we could ask for - the generator and watermaker were well worth opting for a newer boat, giving us less to think about on the nights away from a marina. and she sailed well. We had a mixture of moorings, with the marinas in Maslinica, Milna, Stari Grad were very well equipped. We spent our free sail day exploring the Smrka submarine tunnels, and then finished off rafting in Sesula which was great fun. The sailing conditions were consistently good, with calmer mornings and breezier afternoons. The social events in the evening were well planned and made us want to join in more. We got to know the rest of our flotilla well and the team did a great job at making sure everyone was enjoying their holiday. Whilst this was only my second flotilla, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sunsail, and a massive thanks again to our lead crew for making the trip so amazing.

We went sailing for one week on board a Sunsail 454 Premium in Belize . Everything was perfect! Easy booking, the staff at Sunsail Base is extremely helpful and attentive, the boat is impeccable, with everything you need and more, the islands are a dream, snorkeling amazing, with turtles, dolphins , manatees in the most preserved reef in the Caribbean. This is our second time and we highly recommended this for everyone.

Updating to add that I left my flag on the boat and not only did Sunsail find and hold onto it for me, but they coordinated and paid for it to be mailed back to me. The office is just a small container unit with 2*desks but they are batting above their belt with the level of customer service. Probably the 2nd best I've seen in all the Sunsail bases. Miriam in particular is a sweetheart. There was no airport taxi organized for my arrival but they booked one for my departure. 9 days of sailing St Martin } St Barts } St Kitts & Nevis } St Eustatius } St Martin bareboat charter with hired skipper Stefan at the helm in steady 15kt East winds. I'm not a usual Sunsail customer in that I sail alone but do want to be hands on with the sailing to improve my ability. This was a frustration with the skipper who just commanded the boat and didn't delegate any crew tasks. He would be more suited for families who charter who want nothing to do with the sailing aspect. There was also perhaps a language barrier in that I regularly had to repeat myself. My advice to anyone chartering from Sunsail with a hired skipper is that you don't need them on the first or last day. It is a rip off paying them for 2 days when you won't be sailing and they are not actually doing any work as you are simply checking in or checking out to catch your flights.

I've never in 7 different Sunsail bases I've come across been charged additional invoices after the charter. I had a hired skipper, who despite asking that I wanted to be hands-on just operated the boat anyway. Then post charter came the extra invoice of paying the skippers PD's. How I've operated on every other charter was to pay for the skippers provisioning and meals at restaurants. This was completely ignored and I've been deducted credit from account despite my protest to the additional charges. If you want to enjoy the Grenadines do it from Sunsail St Lucia, much more organized and transparent base.

What an amazing way to see the reefs and atolls of Belize. We had an absolutely amazing week on the water, snorkeling, fishing, eating and enjoying the company of friends. The boat was immaculate - modern, comfortable, and nimble in the water. And it doesn't matter if you know how to sale or not - don't miss out on brining a local captain along with you! Jeremy was simply the best - and a fish / lobster whisperer who always knew where to find our next dinner! He listened to what we wanted to get out of our week and new where to go and what to do to delivery only the best of Belize! And there are amazing places you can sail to like Glovers Atoll that are only permitted with a local captain on board.

Wow, what a pleasure it was to sail in St. Lucia & Martinique this year. We achieved a full reset of mind, body & soul. The crew at Moorings/Sunsail charter base were very helpful and friendly. George's yacht briefing was clear & concise, and he gave us some great ideas on spots to visit. The cruising grounds were spectacular. Most of our activity was water based, but we enjoyed some great on land adventures as well. A climb/adventure scramble of the Petit Piton was a stand out highlight. Our new friend Daniel, from Soufrière, joined us and set a nice, quick pace, pausing along the way to let the three of us take in the experience. Thanks Daniel!

This was my third time chartering with Sunsail but first in the Caribbean. Me and my crew had an amazing experience, starting with the Sunsail staff. Lin and her whole team were super friendly and professional. The boat was in great condition and the sailing ground was excellent. The marina has sturdy docks and a few restaurant options. We are ate at two and both were really good. We’ll definitely be back.

A superb customer service! Very friendly and helpful staff all around from reception to technical briefing. Newish marina. They have about 5 monohull and 15 catamarans. Restaurants and cafes near by, as well as Super U supermarket where we provisioned. I would definitely come back!
